Mr. Ellington concentrates his practice in Criminal Litigation. He also represents corporate and individual clients in other areas of law including Commercial Transaction, Civil Litigation, Bankruptcy, Family, Patent, Trademark, and Copyright. Mr. Ellington represents clients before state and federal courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution forums.
Prior to forming Cobos, Ellington, Maduabum and McKenzie, LLC, Mr. Ellington was a Solo Practitioner at the general practice firm of Law Offices Michael L. Ellington II, Esq. Mr. Ellington also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Claude M. Coleman, J.S.C., New Jersey Superior Court, Law Division. Mr. Ellington is a member of the Essex County Bar Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association, Brennan-Vanderbilt American Inn of Court, and Tied to Greatness Newark.
